Jim Hall has been a member of the NHSBCA for 25 years, presenting at three NHSBCA conventions. Coach Hall has always believed in involvement with the baseball community.

During his 48 years of membership with IHSBCA. Coach Hall served on the IHSBCA administrative council for 17 years. In 2005 Coach Hall was elected to the IHSBCA Hall of Fame and the ABCA Hall of Fame in 2011. He is also a member of the Chicago Marist High School Hall of Fame as a player and the Lockport Township High School Hall of Fame as Head Baseball Coach.

In 2005, Hall was selected as the 2A Illinois High School Coach of the Year and the Illinois High School Baseball Coach of the Year. As the Lockport Head Baseball Coach, Jim’s teams made state tournament appearances four times, finishing 2nd in 1997 and winning the 2A State Championship in 2005.

Through 16 years as Varsity Head Baseball Coach at Lockport Township High School, Jim compiled a record of 448-151-1.Coach Hall was involved in USA baseball as a coach at the Tournament of Stars and posted a 4-1 record. He worked for two years in Jupiter, Florida, evaluating players for the national teams.

For 14 years, he served as the coach of the Great Lakes 16 and 17-year-old teams at Cary, NC, for the USA baseball NTIS.Hall traveled internationally with prep baseball teams for ten years to promote goodwill through baseball. Teams played in Amsterdam, Germany, Aruba, Japan, Dominican Republic, Czech Republic, Italy, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.
