Matt Spiegel, afternoon host at 670 The Score, will receive the Harry Caray Sportscaster of the Year Award. In addition to his Monday thru Friday 2-6 show along with Laurence Holmes, he hosts the Sunday morning seasonal baseball show “Hit& Run”. He also serves as a fill-in broadcaster on the Chicago Cubs Radio Network. He also writes a weekly baseball column for the Daily Herald.
Spiegel grew up in New Jersey. He studied broadcasting at Emerson College in Boston. He lives in the South Loop with his wife Christine and son Rubin.
